One of the world's best golf courses...

The Río San Juan area not only has indisputably beautiful beaches and the unsurpassed human warmth of the local people, but also, to the delight of golfers of all standards, a stunning and recently opened 18-hole golf course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones and covers an area of over 150 hectares (370 acres). This course is considered one of the best in all Latin America, the Caribbean and, probably, now amongst the best in the world.

This is due to the unusual fact that 10 of its 18 holes are positioned directly at sea over the reef, which, apart from making it extremely beautiful, tests golfers' shot-making talent.
