Designed by prestigious Mexican architect Fernando Quirarte and inspired by the Maya Pucc architectural period received its guests with the all the warmth that characterizes Mexico. Materials such as natural stones, talavera pottery, marble, grand palapas, sturdy lumber and an exquisite combination of colors help makes this a cool, fragrant and easily recognizable hotel to enjoy.

The Project was designed following concepts to maximize all the natural resources of the area in order to achieve long term sustained tourism. At over 1KM the beach is naturally free forming, ample and delicately manicured gardens allow for a pleasurable leisurely stroll throughout the complex. Modern energy efficient equipment including a water treatment facility distinguishes the property as an environmentally, eco friendly leader in the tourism industry.

How to get there

Located less than one hour (by car) from Cancún airport and less than 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen, and 20 minutes from Tulum.

	From the airport head towards Chetumal on the federal highway. The resort is located at km 250. You can see the BAHIA PRINCIPE name from the road in large letters on your left hand side along with the buildings comprising Hacienda Doña Isabel.
	You can use taxis or public buses to leave the hotel. Cars can also be hired from the offices of the car rental company located in Hacienda Doña Isabel (Advantage Rent a Car)
