The following golf courses are near our Gran Bahía Príncipe La Romana Hotel for all golf enthusiasts:
Guavaberry Golf Course located in the south of the country. It was designed by Gary Player and its holes have special features like 4.5 meter waterfalls and local coral formations. It is only 25 minutes from the hotel. The course is 7,156 yards long and has 72 holes, along with rolling hills, unique rock formations and exuberant vegetation.
Casa de Campo Golf Club located 5 km from the city of La Romana, which has two golf courses designed by Pete Dye. One of these is an 8-hole course next to the sea and the other is also a links course. They are approximately 30 minutes from the hotel.
Metro Los Marlins Country Club golf course, designed by Charles Ankrom. This course has all the landscaping features of a modern golf course. Holes: 18; Par: 72. Only 20
minutes from the hotel.
Teeth of the Dog, considered by "Golf Magazine" to be the number one golf course in the Caribbean is a 7-hole links course. It is located in La Romana, in the Casa de Campo Club.
