Is the a doctor in the complex?
No. Should you need a doctor, there is a 24-hour service available which is alerted from reception.

Can medicines be bought near the hotel?
There are three drugstores at a distance of only 300 meters from the hotel. There is always a drug store open 24 hours a day in Puerto de la Cruz.

Is the resort complex adapted for the disabled?
The hotel facilities allow disabled people to access them without any problems.

Do I need to vaccinate myself against any illnesses before traveling?
No, it is not necessary. No obligatory vaccinations are needed to travel to Tenerife.

Can I suffer any kind of food or water poisoning?
The hotel conducts monthly audits and runs all HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) to minimize any risks of intoxication. Tap water can be drunk. Its strong taste, however, makes it advisable to drink bottled water.

Is there anything I will not find in the hotel?
If you need something you cannot find in the hotel, the area is full of shops to cover any need.

What kind of clothing should I bring?
Comfortable clothing is recommended, as is a light coat for autumn and winter nights.

What type of sunscreen should I bring?
Although it always depends on the type of skin, we recommended a medium to high sun protection factor.

Adeje is mainly a tourist town. Thus, most of its inhabitants work in tourism. The standard of living is medium to high, just like in the rest of Spain.

What are the typical customs?
The residents of Adeje are people who enjoy parties and are very closely linked to the traditions they have taken the effort to preserve. Apart from typical highly popular celebrations like Carnival, some Canary Island traditions have been preserved such as the Canary Island wrestling (lucha canaria), plough lifting (el levantamiento de arado), the stick game (el juego del palo), etc.

How are tourists treated?
Tourists will not feel awkward in this land. In general terms, they are treated politely and professionally, along with the hospitality that is natural in the people of Adeje.

Can I go to the center of town on foot or do I need a vehicle?
You need a vehicle or you can use the public bus system. However, the hotel offers a transport service to the Playa de Las Américas area, where there are a multitude of leisure, shopping and restaurant services.

From 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM approximately.
