About Bahía Príncipe Clubs & Resorts

Bahía Príncipe Clubs & Resorts is the most recent division of Grupo Piñero, one of the leading groups in the Spanish tourist industry (tour operators, hotel chains, transport companies, etc.) with a presence in Spain, Portugal, Russia, Miami, Argentina, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

Bahía Príncipe was founded in 1995 with the opening of the 940-room Bahía Príncipe San Juan (Puerto Plata - Dominican Republic). We currently hold a total of eighteen (18) 4- and 5-star hotels in the most attractive destinations of the Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica) and Spain (Tenerife).

Today, the chain continues to expand with the aim of extending its number of establishments and exceed the 20,000 hotel rooms it already holds. The Bahía Príncipe brand classifies all of its 5-star establishments as Gran Bahía Príncipe and its 4-star establishments as Bahía Príncipe. A new brand was created recently by grouping together all of the top category Gran Bahía Príncipe establishments under the name Don Pablo Collection.
